My mom's got a PT Cruiser. I wonder if I could convince her to get this:

Although... I am all for lifting things that usually get slammed.

I thought it looked pretty good, too, but yeah, it's a POS. It seems like it's all old people driving them, too. (like my mom)

um, Duh... that was the point.

on the lifted Subaru topic, one of the Cohen kids up the hill has a lifted mid-80's Subaru DL 3-door. It's sitting on 31" BF Goodrich T/A's. The thing looks like a toy.

I want a PT Cruiser with the turbo motor. I couldn't give 2 shits about the wrapper, but that motor is something I want to play with.

it was better in the Neon- less weight, same chassis as the PT.

There actually pretty quick for what they are, but you will have to change engine mounts every 2 months.

I'd honestly rather just fucking walk than be seen in one of those rolling pieces of shit. I'm sure there are other more mechanically inferior cars, but in terms of pure aesthetics, I think the PT cruiser is tough to beat for sheer unattractiveness. It's even worse when you see them decked out with chrome flames and stick-on plastic air vents and extractors, which seems to be common out this way. Only the chevy HHR (or SSR) comes close in terms of cars that make me angry to look at.

That being said, I think the lift kit is certainly an improvement over stock. I'd consider installing that, right before I was ready to drive it off a cliff

I prefer it because it's a wagon. A Neon can't hold as much cargo as a PT. An egg plant purple or white woody PT is a much better "sleeper" skin than any Neon could ever be.
