I had just started another transmitter for someone else on a design i have never used, it may be the same one that i posted here, but i just realised that the electret mic has 3 pins on the schematic? i am not experienced that much with mics, can anyone tell me if they have ever seen an electret mic like this, all mine only have 2. luckily i had just test assembled on a breadboard and hadent soldered yet.

Edit: yeah it is the schematic i posted before

I know some mics are so small, the diaphram moving cannot create enough current, so "phantom power" is used. Effectivly a small amp in the mic, so there is enough power for all of the other components to work with the mics' output.
