| Wellll... yes and no. The driveway is gated now, which leaves only the boulevard at the side of the highway. And there are enough neighbours that any new vehicle in this vicinity is obviously only at one spot. And there have been some police run-ins here with explorers in the last year. I went here with the intention of making a much slower, relaxed examination and hiked in from quite a distance away. It was worth it! We spent over 2 hours here, absolutely zero stress. | To anyone else going here, hindsight is 20/20 saying this, but:..... Lee was a fanatic archivist. That's completely obvious from the scores and scores of voice recordings everywhere. He meticulously documented everything. And with that said, don't miss the opportunity to look behind EVERYTHING in the house. Portraits, furniture, etc. etc. He wrote full details on the back of everything. Especially the portraits. Every historical detail is documented in wonderful, old-style scrawl.

| | | Here's my little contribution to this thread. While Ground State was off on his wicked macro mission, I had one of my own. On a previous visit, GS had made some disturbing discoveries; photos of dead animals pasted with care onto bristol board and in albums, and of course, the bizarre cryptic messages painted on walls and items for someone to find. Mr. Lee was thought to be a psycho at best, and a serial "something" at worst. Given Mr.Lee's penchant for inscribing everything, I had a feeling there might be something written on the backs of his photos which might offer some insight. I was not to be disappointed, and in the process of digging, perhaps I can offer some vindication for him and his all-consuming obsessive tendencies. Maybe even...he was not so different from us.
