From the article:
"A proposal to tear down an historic home at 420 Fanshawe Park Rd. E., once owned by Nancy and the late Bill Poole, is raising fears large trees on the site could fall and a large development will mar the neighbourhood, the city’s planning and environment committee heard.

The home has been vacant since the Pooles sold it in 2009."

Most every township will have town council minutes in which addresses of heritage homes up for demolition or heritage status are listed.

If you Google "ontario heritage house proposal" you'll find numerous properties.

For the love of God though, if there are any taggers reading this please have some fucking dignity and respect for these beautiful old homes.

Definitely isn't the first time the London Free Press has fucked something up for us decent Urban Explorers.

Few months back they posted an article full of addresses and location information on some homes in London. One of them had been abandoned for a couple years and although wasn't in "great shape", had been a low-key good starter explore. Then suddenly, a few weeks after LFP reported on it, it was demolished. Coincidence? Maybe. But highly unlikely.

Fuck them.

(Does anyone have photos of this vacant house? I checked on google maps, but the only house that could be the one they're talking about still looks lived in...)
