Thinking about selling my truck,I don't know though...it's a tough fucker even with all the issues that it seems to keep having out of nowhere. After all it is a gmc,the ranger i owned before it was amazing even with no radio,an oil leak and 280,000 on it.If I do sell this truck.it's either another ranger xlt or a V6 f150.I've always had a soft spot for those older(95 and older)f series trucks.they're indestructible

ask my dad how much he likes his F150... He can't get it inspected in NY because he can't get the CEL to go out... He's spent over $900 on it and still no inspection.

it's a joke here.
because of the climate, terrain and overall condition of the roads, expecting an emissions system to continue working at peak well into the 200,000 mile range is a bit optimistic. But because the rest of the state is fucking attached to NYC and Lon-G I'land, well, we got to be emissions-minded (facepalm). Could be worse though; Over in Vermont, on your yearly inspection, you can't have over a certain amount of rust showing or you fail. So, you get guys that take duct tape, cover the rust and spray is the close approximate color of the car. (eyeroll)

down the street my buddy sold the gas station a 1992 F150 with dual tanks, they put a snow plow on the bugger in 2005 beat it like it owed us money then last week sold it to the guy who owns the restaurant next door. Its still going!

Myself my B4000 (ranger) is an 05 and the worst i have had was some minor brake issues, hog on gas but i love it.

well when i bought my truck it was between the sonoma and the ranger/b series i was impressed but how beefy the ranger twins were compared to the GM products. as well they managed to keep the ranger pretty basic. First car i have had in years that the radio shuts off when you turn off the key, Seats to some are hard, but they can take a beating.

One of our (not so smart) customers just bought a 97 explorer from Michigan. Besides being a complete shitpile explorer its soo rusty the rockers are gone to the point where the running boards are falling off and when you open the doors theres not much left of the sill panels. To make things worse the brake lines blew coming into the shop and the tech working on it ran into his toolbox . I guess Michigan inspections a joke if this thing was on the road any time recently.
