Have a couple questions and couldn't find much through Google or yahoo..So I will ask my fellow mechanics and Urbexers..For one whenever i turn on my headlamp switch the passenger side head light will not come on unless my foot in on the brake..I heard it was a bad ground..the head light is condensed over anyway so I may just pull it out and replace it if i get the chance also after a little ways down the road my temp guage will start to rise and you can smell cooking wires..it's a very faint smell though,It may be the heater core or a multitude of things..I don't know..any advice would be helpful before i decide to dive under the hood..

Most likely have wiring issues under the dash. The brake light circuit would need to be shorted to the headlight wiring for that to have any effect upon it at all. Or the movement of the pedal itself is jarring some wiring causing connection to be reestablished. Time to pull the instrument panel and knee panel to check for wiring damage. If you can smell burning insulation you've got major problems and are asking for an electrical fire.

Needs to be looked at ASAP if you want to avoid a fire....

my 98 Lumina and 99 Monte Carlo both routed the main brake light circuits THROUGH the signal light switch in the column (referred to as a 'multi-function lever') The third brake light would work when you hit the pedal, but the main lights would only work if you held up on the signal light lever a wee bit. You actually got used to driving the car like that if you can believe it.
