I took this set at a legendary local mega night club that got shutdown and demolished (for what else but condos) earlier this year.

Since I've spent so much time clubbing at the venue before, I felt at home after I got in. I knew all the nooks and crannies and where could be interesting - like visiting a friend's house before he moves out.

Unfortunately construction already started at the time so half the building was torn down. Regardless, it was a trip down the memory lane worth taking.

Funny anecdote, I was taking some external shots near dawn and the construction crew showed up right then. Lucky I was able to get out earlier otherwise there would be some 'splaining to do.

Enjoy!

Opinions on this venue were mixed, but for me it was a haven that spanned decades. The first show I ever saw here (and still, to this day, the most energetic crowd I have ever seen) was KMFDM in 1990, and ended with Ministry touring a couple years back with the Revolting Cocks. Funny, for that last show I remember how impressed I was at how sparkling clean everything was. Looked like it could have gone another few decades, but the end was near.

I got in earlier than you, we got some identical shots though, sweet work man!

Some funky stuff in there, funky funky stuff. A lot of nasty things were happening behind the staffs rooms. I took a huge stack of fake IDs because I couldn't stop laughing at them.

Was a really cool and fun explore, albeit really dark.

What do you mean exactly? They'll report to authorities... or worse?

They changed things up here and there over the years. Rooms got more "techy" and such LOL

But obviously the structure remained largely the same..

Great minds think alike? ;)

Did you mean things happened when the club was open or you saw while exploring? Shit I was hoping to see more of the back and stuff but was too late. The only thing left was really the DJ booth.

Yeah it was dark.. don't think I've taken exposures for over 2 minutes before

What happened while it was open, confirmed by what I saw exploring.

Lots of back room sexytime in that club. haha.
