I squeezed through a fence to get one last look at a mural village in the middle of active demolition, and found a couple pictures appropriate for around now. This is from Sugungga, one of the most popular Korean folktales, which is being retold a lot because 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit.
The Dragon King was dying, and needed a rabbit liver to survive. So he got a turtle to bring a rabbit to his undersea castle.
The rabbit promised to help, but said his liver is too valuable to carry around everywhere, so he hides it on land for safekeeping. So the turtle brought him back to land to retrieve his liver. And then of course once there, the rabbit laughed at the turtle and ran away.
What happens next? The rest of the wall is gone.
