This place was hidden pretty well and I only happened upon it by chance. Apart from being very difficult to maneuver around due to all the vegetation it contained some neat stuff.

Pictured: neat stuff

Okay I meant hoarding.

Or at least paperwork and booze

And lots of dirty dishes

I think it goes without saying this was the teenagers room

10.

Possibly a student?

Neat ol' stove

Fancy Fridges

15.

They cycled through heaters too.

18.

It was just overtaken, couldn't get a the whole thing.

Incldued a back shed

Which unfortunately was hard to get too both because of the vines, but also the scrap pile that scrap pile and trench between the buildings. Neat place though.

It's funny how by looking at pictures I get that tingle in my nose because I know exactly what this place smells like by looking at your pics.

Nice work, cool find!

Was I the only one who saw the pictures of the fridges and though "man, if the outside is that bad I can only imagine the inside?". Great find Catdog23, I love the old beer bottles.

I once found a fridge at an abandonment that was stocked full and left to rot in the sun.

I liked those - I thought that they were medicine bottles at first (though a DXM problem would ostensibly worse than the booze).

The worst part about that photo is that I can only begin to know what it smelt like and that alone is pretty raunchy haha. Did you find out any back story of the guy who lived here? I would be very surprised if he was in actual fact an engineer living like that.

Surprisingly it wasn't raunchy, nor did it look like animals had tried to get in. It was all expired 2007-2009 (the fact there was a date range was weird.)

As for the history, apparently the whole area was owned by (no shit) George Lucas, who was a Loyalist that built the house between 1878 and 1891. Even better was that it was lived in by not one, but two George Washington Lucas'.

Feel free to PM me if you want the census.

I was attacked by a bag of 14 year old cheese curds from an abandoned fridge today.

Looking at the first pic i was amazed you was able to get into this place at all. Glad you found an entry point, and hopefully you didn't get a bad case of poison ivy. Great old stove. When i see houses like this i can't help but wonder if thats the way these people lived, or if it was ransacked before they left.

No poison ivy fortunately, though in a lot of places like this it seems more like all the stuff builds up after people are done living in it, well to me anyways.
