The end result of no explores for a month < on 8/3/2015 11:33 PM > | Reply with Quote
**In my tired state this was posted in the wrong section instead of the 'photography' subforum, my bad..if a mod could kindly move it I will love you forever**
I've not been on a successful explore for a month, which is a long time for me to be without some kind of photographical excursion. As such I've been going a little crazy with cabin fever and wistfully looking over old photos from explores wishing I was out there again.
Du Parc is a classic Belgian explore and back in 2012 on my first trip to the continent I paid it a visit during a day full of heavy storms. The humid weather coupled with a barely functioning tripod made getting decent photos a bit of a challenge, it is however one of my favourite ruined factories.
Du Parc manufactured ladies stockings and other similar garments, certainly an interesting place to explore given what they made.

I understand how you feel. I have tons of places near me but I can't get to one everyday. I find myself looking at photos and wishing I was there all the time. More importantly, love the shots.

Beautiful pics! I think the warehouse looking place with the moss and the thread spools are my favorite. I wonder why they left all the thread there...

I love huge buildings like this! Especially massive industrial rooms with sunlight pouring in from the roof and green foliage carpeting the floors. For these reasons, 14, 17 and 18 are my favorites, but they are all phenomenal shots!

Love the chaotic look to 15. I have a secret desire to climb into one of those blue buckets and take a ride ... and not 1 pair of ladies hose.?!!? Awesome spool shots Mr. Mook.

Incredibly interesting! I'm always a sucker for interior moss growth (#9) and plant succession (#14). But the true highlight for me is that dark black vanishing point void in #3. Awesome.
Edited because dumb-ass cannot count pics.
