	From what I read, its off-road capabilities when you get the extra options like air bag suspension are not bad, but you can't clear the Rubicon trail with it...

	I haven't seen one in action, but I've heard and read good things about their off-road capabilities. I'd be interested in it if it wasn't in Montreal.

The T3 TDI is an awesome truck, way more refined then the T1 and T2, we have one as shop truck to tow show cars etc.

Nothing better then an SUV that gets 9.0 l per 100km and has the handling of a car.

Yeah but I like 600 lbs of torque and a refinished interior and an engine that doesn't blow or consume oil like it's going out of style.

	They were good SUVs when new. The Touareg works best as a family vehicle that you use to haul a boat to the cottage or go skiing in the winter. I'd ditch the black rims for something closer to the factory's silver/grey. Black and that shade of blue don't go well together. Notice how VW didn't use much black trim on the exterior. The dent on the side, foggy headlights and dirty interior are off-putting and give the impression that it was someone's beater vehicle that wasn't taken care of. The salt stains on the carpet got my attention immediately. It isn't a good impression for a VW, since few people associate older VWs with low maintenance. You want it to be meticulously clean in any "for sale" photos with a tasteful choice of rims. That way people think "it's an old VW, but it looks like someone cared for it--it's worth checking it out." Then you have the best chances of getting a good price for it.

	It is a beater hence why Im selling it for only 4k. my other touareg is much nicer and in better shape, dirty in this p hoto but you get the idea.

	If you just want to get rid of it, someone will probably buy it for $3000. If you clean it up, you can get a better price though.
