Just getting back into the province and I'm itching to make a quick post and see/hear how everyone is. Nothing spectacular here - just some shots from a very humid summer exploration of a 1900s rural two-story farmhouse. This was definitely one of those dripping-with-sweat / ticks-headed-upwards-for-the-crotch / burrs-caught-in-your-hair explores, so I figured I'd post it and see if it has something to appreciate. Not much inside, but the home is riddled with entryways that have allowed perhaps a dozen or so barn swallows to use it as a sheltered nesting site. They circle endlessly overhead in each room as one explores.

huh, Barn Swallows are apparently a threatened species in Ontario, numbers have declined 80% over the last 40 years.

Cool pictures! The birds really make the place - but there's still a lot of great peeling and decay as well. Definitely worth the post

Wow. Another awesome set of photos ground state.

I enjoy how you're able to capture things uniquely while keeping the decay look
