Morning shift week at work, decided long time ago that friday I will get on the road... First I did plan long roadtrip, but after those photos that carmen- post... I did notice that I haven't been there for 4 years, watching those photos more and fever were on. Sad thing were that it was raining when I did get there so weather were quite gloomy and because since my last visit windows were covered by that forest view, so you can imagine it were bit too dark there. Still I did hunt two hours for photos. I didn't get too many, as you can see. Now I'm just asking: why I didn't get there at summer???

Where Forest Grows:

The Chair (Die Down and Watch Paint Falling Down):

Colourful Chaos:

To the Cold White Light:

Where Dead Birds Did Sing Silently:

Bonewings, Butterflywings:

From the Ash Shall the Black Bird Rise:

----------

Two hours for those photos... Well, there actually were bit more of them but no need to publish those (=shit). But of course this idiot has one thing to get on here; traditional off-topic-bonus-pic! Morning at Torronsuo national park, again:

Thanks for watching.

I like how the last pic is shot in a way that seems to maximize the idea that it died in sudden throes. The ash makes it looks so.... I don't know... 'Pompeii-ish'.

Yeah, that view was truly amazing when I did see it in carmen-'s photo, it is so dark and beautiful lying on that ash... and I probably wouldn't find it if I wouldn't know it were there. It was literally in so dark spot in cellar that I did have to use my cell phones flashlight to find it... and photograph it. I'll think that most of dead birds look somehow very beautiful... they have that "bird of death" mood in them. Anyway I'll think better photo of it would be possible - my tripod (were falling all the time to some direction) and object (which did zoom automaticly by gravity) did try to make even this untaken.

Picture-taking-fever would be right answer I'll think.

It seems that you are first to notice that goggles thing. Almost steampunk like look.

I love your colorful chaos. Just gorgeous!

Exploring since I was a teen. Always looking for some "new" old abandonment to explore and photograph. Afraid of snakes, clowns and teethy animals.
