Thursday sucked. Truck hit a Mustang, I hit the truck at around 25 - no brake lights or delayed reaction or something because I couldn't tell it was stopped until it was too late. Nobody hurt but Mustang fled and truck driver's license was suspended. Surprisingly the airbags didn't deploy - and right now there's a recall on these for the airbags going off by slamming the door.

Naturally, the only legit driver (me) gets the worst of it since I hit his trailer hitch. Fuck plastic on cars that aren't Fieros.

Charger was towed due to rad damage - I'll know more next week. Rental aint bad, though...

Both of us; automatic ticket for rear-ending someone in Illinois. Able to request supervision, though - at least my insurance won't be twice as bad as it's going to get.

Got an early number yesterday: $8k and expected to rise when they tear into it.

Talked to the shop today and went over the estimate. Where that bumper rail mounts concerns them, but otherwise nothing else appears too messed up and I could even have it back next week. Get to keep the old parts, too (I can use the sheet metal for things) - the horns and HID's still work despite the trashed housings on the latter, so they may even wind up in my Fiero this winter.
