How about a quick summary of each story rather than posting a link farm?

Big ups to my friend David de Rueda for pulling together a Nikon sponsored trip and coming away with some of my new favorite pictures of subject matter that was getting quite boring to me.

I copied and pasted these links as I read them - I did this to be nice. I'm not interested in spoon feeding this to people who are too lazy to click a link. Would you prefer me to call you next time and read it to you over the phone or is hitting the "answer" button too much work?

I'll PM you with my number. Could you call me and read each article to me? ;)

(Thanks for posting the links.)

I have to agree that posting a title for each story would be appreciated, instead of just bare links. Don't act like it's just us readers being lazy; if it's lazy to ask for titles or info on the links, it's also lazy to just copy+paste links into a thread and hit "Post Reply."

Agreed, people like to have the context of what they're about to click upon. There's New Zealand news, North Carolina news, Texas, etc. which may not be of interest to everyone.

It's a simple matter to cut and paste the subject titles, or simply post the individual links to the appropriate regional forum. I use the "[media]" tag in a UER subject to let people know the content is a news article, not photo set.

Otherwise we could really just go to Google News and type in 'abandoned' for the same.

My two cents.

And give it a bit of time and bunch of those links are going to 404 and we're not going to have a clue what they were for.

That Staten Island building in the first article where the kid died doesn't have any windows. It's pretty scary.

Is it the building they show in the pic for the article where all the windows are broken out, or do you mean it actually doesn't have any windows? That does sound creepy if it's the latter. I wonder why they would put a less-creepy abandoned building for the picture in the article.

sorry. I meant completely missing, as in not shattered, but somebody took them.

And most of the windows extended all the way to the floor, so if one were to walk to the edge of the building, it would be a sheer drop, like the edge of a cliff.
