This is probably the most beautiful (and easily saved...) houses I've come across to date. The hardwood floors, solid wood trim and crown molding are absolutely stunning. The thought that someone could just abandon this home and let it decay is mind boggling. Google maps shows this house lived in as recently as 2009. Then it appears to have been bought and converted into a corn field. Such an absolute shame.

Those floors do look good. Looks like at one time it was a well loved home.

This place doesn't happen to be sorta in my neck of the woods, does it? If not it look eerily similar to one.

This is the type of house I'd love to see on Addicted to Rehab, or something similar. Such a gorgeous home with so much potential.. It's not even that far gone. It's fairly close to your neck of the woods, I believe. I'm sure you've seen it at one point or another.

Man how I love pocket doors !!

So sad they are a thing of the past now...mind you if I ever have the opportunity to design my own home...they WILL be a feature

The woodwork all around appears to be in pretty good condition. That stair railing looks awesome as does the floor
