What element lengths, and spacing do you use for your 2m 5 element quad? I'm building one and can't get a straight answer.

Good question, I can't remember I built it about 8 years ago out of an old 73 magazine article. If your interested I can probably find the article (will take some time) 1,000 plus old radio mags. Will scan and forward it too you..What I do remember was that even going by the plans I had too add too the driven element a 3/4 of an inch length too get the swr down too 1:1 on 144.200mhz..

Just let me know if interested

Haha.......those new HT's are so small it's easy to lose one and not realize it is gone. There is something to be said for the '80s Icom HT's, ie. IC-02AT series. If one of those falls off your belt, you know it!!!

b4 MTX8000 UHF

Motorola never made a B4 MTX8000, nor a UHF MTX8000

I think you mean a UHF MTX2000 B4.
