Ontario explorers are quite tired of seeing this location, but I thought there might be some interest from abroad. Pics are from a few seasons ago, when I overdid the processing a little. I've been thinking about this place and wanting to revisit my shots again after we recently had one of our fire-fighting chiefs die here. He was off duty and walking his dog on the property. It somehow fell into a hole and he succumbed to his injuries after also falling in head first trying to rescue it.

Awesome GS! From your photo set I wasn't able to tell it was Ontario Place at all.

That's sad about the firefighter though. A bit of a reminder that awful things can happen to you even if you're trained and experienced.

Nice work!

Was that tree growing in the toilet, or was it stuck in there by someone..?

Sometimes you just gotta rise above all the shit, man.

Loving those pictures, OP. This location is new to me, as I am new to this hobby.

Sad to hear about what happened to that firefighter.

This one is on the south side of the lake. The two parks have been photographed so much, they sort of blend together. You can always tell Prudhommes though because it is far more overgrown and the graffiti is quite a bit worse. They have no security here, after all, and the property is pretty much open access.

I'd like to think it was growing there, because that would be totally far out. However, with the slight lean to the left and the fact that it is an evergreen (I think they grow very slow, no?), I think it was just stuck there. Though I never did check!

I just REALLY like Pic #1. Makes you think that water slide plummets you out in the river/or whatever water source that is?!?! That waffle cone maker still looks good. Makes me want one.

Truly Sad experience of the FireFighter. Poor Guy!

Always enjoy your pics GS. Glad you are feeling better!

It isn't a tough climb to get up there, but it is still a climb. It is hard to believe that the PO has gotten away with leaving open-access to the property for so long. On a typical day, there are half a dozen people here at any one time walking their dogs all over the property (and hence the fire chief accident).

PS - that's the south side of Lake Ontario in the background
