Urbex Series: SEASON II CINEMATIC TRAILER [New Orleans, Dallas, and Detroit Explores] < on 1/16/2016 12:22 AM > | Reply with Quote
The second season of our urbex series is nearly here, so I've brought a comprehensive look at what we've got coming. This time we travel to New Orleans (where we cover a power plant, hotel, and the now demolished Lakeview Elementary school), Dallas (incinerator and cement factory), and ol' motor city, Detroit (psychiatric hospital and the Pontiac Silverdome). The photos below and a handful more are all up right here.
And check out the full trailer right here!
1. Cement Factory Office Hall
2. New Orleans Inn
3. Power Plant
4. Lakeview Elementary Hallway
5.
6. Dawn at the Plant Early in the morning inside the plant; the still atmosphere was beautiful and palpable.
7.
8.
9.
10.
11. Sunrise peak, New Orleans Harbor One of the best parts of the power plant explore; can't ask for better timing.
12.
13.
14.
15. Detroit Psychiatric Hospital Hallway
16.
17. Passage to the Arena
18. Catwalk to Remember
19. The Silverdome
We're really trying to turn it up a few notches this time, and a lot of hard work has been thrown at this to make it something exciting, enjoyable to watch, and hopefully a little special. The Season Premiere will be dropping roughly before the end of the month! It is one of our most memorable explores to date, and can't wait to share it.

Also, what camera(s) gear did you use?
I'm a doc filmmaker and I'm really looking for a rig that's great for UrbExing. Usually I like the Sony FS7 for doc, but it's not super portable. Not to mention, if you drop it, there goes $14K.
I love the GoPro, but it looks like you had some really nice dolly work in there as well. What rig did you use?
