Cant wait to check out more of the city! This is my first recorded UE for the purpose of sharing on UER so please forgive me if I'm doing it wrong. This building is an awesome art-deco 15 story (18 including the attic, roof towers, and basement) old luxury hotel and apartment. It was built in 1929 and last used commercially in early 1990's. Gotta give some credit to my brother for joining me. Unfortunately the camera was having an issue focusing so only some of the pix are here. Enjoy!

1. Captain Obvious points out this is a street view

2. Captain Obvious points out this is a side view

3. Luxury hallways at their finest!

4. Almost to the top!

5. A rooftop garden?? I think not

6. My lil big bro and I

7. Ghosts

8. View threw pyramid tower toward downtown

Thanks for checking it out! If you wanna meet up in Detroit - msg me!

That's sweet! I love the rooftop shot! I bet Detroit is just crawling with places that scream explore me. Try and stay safe though. Good pics.

Never waste a day.

Art Deco buildings are cool. Unfortunately many have been gutted

Good to see you're having fun up high and here

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

With 45 days of vacation I swore I was going to take a week this summer and head to Detroit for a week of exploring. Unfortunately, Mrs Ulcer and I are both in the oil and gas industry and have been banking every penny we can for the inevitable layoff's. Looks like it's going to have to wait until we either hit the lottery or we have a years worth of expenses in the bank.

In the meantime, I'll live vicariously through you and the other Great Lakes folks. Keep up the good work and be safe!

Awesome pictures! I love the ninth shot, really cool. Plus the lights on the final shot look sweet
