What do you think is the best time of day to go out and explore?

I think dawn is my favorite time. Little people out, stealthy break in, then light fills up as you begin to explore.

Then you've already accomplished something awesome that day before noon!

Yeah dusk or dawn. Or even middle of the day. My wife loves going at night because everything is way creepier. But I enjoy during the day, easier to see and better for most pictures.

Depends on the location for me. For some I like seeing all of my surroundings and soaking in the atmosphere of where I'm in. But for some adventures it's best to go at night for easier infil and it even makes things a little spookier which is a plus. Be careful that you don't go shining your light around windows a lot if you go at night.

Unless it's a bunker or missile silo, always during the day or predawn.
Way too easy to get injured or killed in a fall at night.

The best time to explore is whenever the fuck you feel like it and can get in. There is no right or wrong answer here.

Morning time is probably best. I usually end up going mid day or early evening time though due to work/scheduling. Going at night always seems like fun with the creepy factor and all that, but the whole time I'm extra worried about people/needles/falling/etc. I focus more on what I can't see/looking suspicious so it takes away from the explore for me.

I usually go morning or afternoon. I think it looks too suspicious being seen snooping around at night.

I prefer morning so the light is nice, plus you have all day if the location is big. In Ontario night time exploring can turn a trespassing charge into a criminal offence so I make sure to be home by the time the streetlights come on ;)

For me it depends on the location. More secluded places I go around sunset. More open areas I go when its almost pitch black

bump. Sunrise and sunset are the golden moments for shooting.

Thieves, vandals, and partiers come out at sunset. Cops know that.
After sunset in most sites there's only trouble to be had after dark unless that's the best time to explore it. With some bunkers and missile silos this is the case.

Even so the likelihood of falls is greatly increased after dark.
Falls not cops are the biggest danger... one open manhole cover in tall grass can screw you up proper.
