This is an abandoned hotel in the forest near North Bay with a bar, restaurant, two basements, owner's apartment, and much more. Definitely the best location I've visited so far. There isn't much information on it, but I believe it was abandoned in the late 90s/early 00s. It was pretty well gutted, and all the interior fixtures in the large rooms appear to have come from the renovation of the hotel next door, which is currently closed but still maintained. These are photos of two trips I took out there in late August 2015.

That's the beauty of rural locations: they rarely get demolished.

I'm fairly sure that whoever owns the newer hotel down the hill owns it as well, and that one is closed while this one is completely abandoned. They're not in a busy area and clearly didn't have enough business, so I doubt they'll get sold off or redeveloped for a long time. The abandoned one is well hidden in the trees and won't be noticed without specifically looking for it, and being out of town, it's inaccessible to most vandal kids.

A co-worker and I stopped in for a look around during our lunch break. Wanted to stop at the peeler club that closed down up the road a bit, but the locals hasn't opened it up yet.
