this makes about zero sense...
| Buildings where you're circumventing security to get in are pretty unlikely to have anyone living in them. I mean... if they were, that's some bad security, and if you're worried about getting caught with weapons (depending on what the laws on those are around where you're exploring) it might be riskier to bring any. You're not going to have to fight a security guard if you get caught, just run. Truly abandoned places without security, you never know what you'll find. There's no one actively keeping people out. You're also not likely to get caught in such a place, so the biggest risk isn't getting caught with weapons, it's needing them and getting caught without one. It's not just humans. The closest i've come to being attacked while exploring wasn't by i person, it was by a feral dog. I scared it off before it did, but it was being threatening. I had my bowie knife out, and if it had attacked it would have been a good thing i'd brought it, but kicking over an empty drum was all it took. What doesn't make sense?

| *groan* Welcome to the fucking planet... Violent crime can and does happen anywhere. Same goes for your next encounter with LEOs. It's the game that moves as you play it. Most common place you find trouble is on the street not in places where people rarely go. Experience bears this out. If anything I've scared a few kids out of abandoned complexes... oops.
