PSA?

On Saturday (Nov 12th) I was up kinda near Keswick at this abandoned farm property with a ridiculously long driveway. Roughly a kilometer long and a straight shot from the road.

As I'm getting ready to leave I take a seat in my car and notice that straight ahead there's another car coming up the driveway towards me. I figured it was the property owner or neighbour or something, so I turn on my car so that my dashcam is recording.

I didn't really think about it at the time, but this turned my headlights on and alerted them to my presence. They stopped and we had a bit of a standoff for a couple minutes (probably contemplating wtf to do), and unable to turn around on the single-lane driveway, they kicked it into reverse and backed all the way out. It looked like a bumpy ride lol

I'm thinking from the reaction this was probably some Urbexers coming to check it out and I just scared them off!

So if this sounds like your Saturday, just FYI: there isn't someone living there, and it's totally worth going back to check that place out.

Haha wasn't me! I have scared quite a few people over the years, I'm pretty sneaky and quiet and love freaking people out. Especially when they actually run thinking it's security lol.
