Hi everyone, It's been 3 weeks and my cousin Cameron Bailie still hasn't been located.
While out exploring can everyone just take a few minutes to look in spaces you usually wouldn't. Under tarps, wood piles, fields surrounding property, behind doors and anywhere else you can.
If you find anything suspicious please call 911.
Thanks

Made this thread big for you. I hope he's found and ok!

Is he an explorer, or a member of this site?

I am so sorry your family is having to endure this Daddy-o....I'm in Oshawa and do a lot of hiking in areas off the beaten path and will surely keep my eyes peeled.

So... No one ever heard back from the OP? I looked his cousin up a couple weeks ago and browsed the facebook page the family had started. As of then, there was still no trace of him. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything to the contrary?

I check this thread every time I see a post hoping that the guy was found. It's really weird that someone with a kid, was last seen at home during the middle of the day and then just disappears.

The other thing I find strange is why would Daddy-o ask urbexers to be on the lookout? Maybe I've been watching too much Investigation Discovery but it raises a ton of questions in my mind.

I look at the address on the poster and it's an apartment complex. Not a horrible neighborhood but also not the best but I'm in Texas so what do I know? Did he have a drug problem or was he involved casually with them? Was he in a relationship and if so how was that going? Who was the last person that talked to him and what was said? Why urbexers? Did he Urbex or is it suspected he went all John Galt and decided to skid row it? Was he depressed? How were his finances? What were his contacts/movements the 24 hours prior to his disappearance? We're there any signs of foul play? Did he own a car and if so is it gone too?

Tons of questions off the top of my head. I really hope something comes of this soon and he's ok. I'd like to hear his story.

It's a bit grim but I suspect OP asked urban explorers to keep an eye out because lots of people believe criminals hide bodies in abandoned buildings... A link to this site was posted in a facebook group dedicated to finding Cameron. https://www.facebo...s/383771105318986/ The admin posted the link for the intended purpose of having locations to look for Cameron.

Here's a link: https://www.thesta...ys-police-say.html

They found his shoes as well, which is kind of a good sign imo, most kidnappers don't let people put on their shoes before taking them.

I hope that answers some of your questions

Rarely do stable people just pop off in the middle of their normal daily routine.
Someone he knew that popped off on him is much more likely.

This isn't a kidnapping for ransom. The shoes aren't a good sign... was there a body of water nearby? Perhaps they are a false lead or deliberately planted to misled.
Unknown abandoned wells, underground tanks in the area are other possibilities.

Hope his family gets a resolution to his fate soon.

Shoes were found near Lake Ontario I believe, and my mind went back to when they found Jeffrey Boucher's shoes by the shore and a few weeks later after the thaw found his body.

I think you're correct, I read that when I first saw this thread and goggled it up. It can sometimes be next to impossible to find drowning victims.
Even it drowning is the case it leaves more questions than answers

I also spent some time looking this guy up. I found the facebook page as well as the update on the shoes. Unfortunately, with as much time that has passed, I'm afraid that the chances of finding this guy alive and well are really remote. I hope I'm wrong though...

Someone in a Ontario Paranormal FB page claims they have had psychic imagery of Cameron Baillie in water... (If you believe in that type of stuff or not)

Not sure how carefully they've searched the water near where his shoes were found, but it's looking more and more like that's where he is. :/
