Hey guys, if you're in and around Toronto between now and May, I urge you to go to the Honest Ed's Village block, because the developers want to break ground as early as May. There is security there now, but I've only seen them wandering around during the day, and from personal experience, I question the quality of the guards themselves.

I've already gone a couple times, but if anyone wants to go again with me, I'd be down.

I went last week during a week day to shoot a video. I didn't see security but there are working cameras all over the place inside. I rolled the dice and took my chance. Stayed in for an hour or so top to bottom and left without incident.

So the cameras are either not monitored or the response time is very slow

Haha, literally took a spin around it the other day and I think I found my way in. Might go check it out tonight actually!

First time I went was late at night, got into an apartment on the southern side of the block. No incident, and I had spent a solid while wandering this one section and inside the fences and nobody took notice.

Second time, I wandered around the same spot again trying to get into a fire escape I hadn't been able to the first time. When I climbed over the gate and ran to the sidewalk, I saw security guards, but they didn't even notice me climb the gate or walk to the sidewalk. I asked them if I could take pictures inside the fence, and they reluctantly said yes as long as I didn't go inside any buildings.
