A few weeks ago, I decided to check out an abandonment on the outskirts of town. The abandonment in question is a farmhouse and some outbuildings, all in extreme states of decay and various states of collapse.
I don't know the exact age of the farm, but considering the size of the trees around the building, the use of wooden slates in the walls, the presence of microfilm pieces, the amount of decay, and various refuse scattered around the site, I believe it to be at least 30-40 years old; probably abandoned sometime in the 1970's.

This picture is actually my best bet at placing the age of the location. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck thus far finding the patent date for the G-01 and G-04 microfilm series, though by some indications production of the G-01 was discontinued as late as 2007.
