I was exploring a little north of Austin (cedar park) a few weeks ago and came across 5 houses and a barn just off aain road. I kept an eye on it for a week and did some resesrch. Figuring out it was abandoned wasn't hard but I'm still at a loss for why. It's a pretty dope place to explore if you're in the area. Most of the building have been stripped of copper so a little trashed but interesting none the less. There is an old stingray hidden back in the woods.

Message me if your interested in location. Not a full member yet so I can't post it on the DB.

Cant put it in the DB? that's a shame!

Why don't you just post some pics of it here?

You probably wont get Full Membership anyway until other members actually believe you actually explore stuff.

My pictures won't post here. I think the files are too large. Although I see others post long threads with pictures, I can't figure out how to do it. I've looked in the forums and don't see a tutorial. If you know how I would love to post some pictures as it's the main reason I explore!

Easiest thing to do is start up a Flickr account. You can upload and store there, and then it'll give you the links to post in the forum already sized to how you'd like them to be.

That looks like a cool little spot. Good find!

Nice spot man. I'm actually moving to Cedar Park in a couple of months (from DFW), this will be a nice intro to Austin area UE.

I regret to say, but I'm under the belief that this location no longer exists... I went looking around, and I'm not sure exactly when you took these photos, but since than it may have been demolished, and all that remains is a nice (read: meh) grassy field with about 3 full foundations, a shed foundation, and one standing shed that had nothing remarkable about it. If this wasn't the place, well than no-one needs to check to see if anything was there.

It could be the same but I believe it is still standing because there were about 5 houses on the property. I will check on it next time I am in the area
