Me personally, a 2001 for ranger. 4x4, good gas mileage plenty of room if you have an extended cab (I don't but I get by) and I grew up driving ford rangers.

I just lost my 2005 ranger October 10th to an idiot from NC who blew through a yield sign.

Nothing fancy... just my SUV.

But one time, we took my friend's Hyundai Sonata exploring... we went down restricted roads and kept bottoming out. It was pretty fun, and we were able to get the car through narrow roads.

Replaced our old wagon with...another wagon! Picked this up over a year ago now near the end of 2017 and have loved driving it since.

Lots of nice rides posted so far!

jonrev I LOVE the Fiero! Did not expect to see one of those posted here.

Anyway, here is mine. 2001 Buick Regal GS. I have been all over in this car. It's very reliable and super comfy for long trips. It can go a surprisingly good amount of places. I have taken it up some roads and trails it has no business being on.

This is my 91 Regal GS, haven't taken it exploring yet.

It has the same drivetrain as your car.

either my 2017 Subaru STI

or my 2010 Porsche Carrera

To be perfectly honest they're both horrible cars for exploring in, especially in rural or run-down locations where they stick out like a sore thumb. Loud, boorish, flashy - I love them, but they're not easy cars to just take anywhere. I often beg rides from others, or just make sure to park far enough away somewhere safe. I'm actually thinking of selling the Porsche to help fund a few other things, but the STi will be sticking around for at least another few years. It's my 50,000km/yr daily driver

That would be a Sierra 1500.
Just a Silverado 1500 with a GMC badge. Great trucks!
