I'm going to take a few minutes to kvetch about my wife.

Make no mistake, I care deeply for my wife, but she's impulsive to the point of aggravation. She just buys stuff without examining it.

Great examples...

When we had an actual birthday party for our son, she bought balloons. I used to be in the event decorating business and still do it part-time. I have THOUSANDS of balloons. Oh, but she said I didn't have any that said "Happy Birthday Michael" on them. That's funny because the balloons she bought say, "Happy Birthday MICHELLE".

The latest was an organ. She saw a junkazoid Wurlitzer organ in the Starvation Army Theft Store and decided to bring it home. There are so many dead keys on it that I can't even do scales on it. Internally, yep, vacuum tubes. The drugstore doesn't have a tube tube tester any more.

Is this normal? My first two wives didn't do this. IDK,

Haha. I just did the same thing a couple months back... couldn't resist. So I understand her temptation.

At least a half dozen petrified dead rats stuck in-between the keys... wound up buying like 2 dozen tubes off ebay... still not done.

Well I want to turn the tables.

I'm watching the thrift stores for a bust of some historical figure. Shakespeare would be the best, but I'll settle for anyone.

If my wife asks me why I bought it, I'll just say it's for the garage door opener button.

I don't think she'll get the reference.

I was watching 2001 A Space Odyssey with our son and she thought it was Planet of the Apes.

I was watching Yellow Submarine and she asks "what the heck is this?"
