Sorry about this way too looooong start with text, but I feel so sad and bad and angry that I must open. And yes, there is photos too if you scroll down enough.
You might now how for me there are some principles that I’ve been following since 2004 when I did start this madness. Most important rule for me is that I never, ever touch anything, except doors and floors. No matter if there is some rubbish ruining photo, I let them be because if I would change even smallest detail, it wouldn’t be same anymore.
Second thing is that I don’t reveal locations even to my friends. I’ve seen it happen way too many times... someone tells something to just one person and soon that person tells it to 4 friends and soon whole place have been run over by tourism.
So you can believe that start of this year have been ruining my brains. Many places that have been untouched for years and years and years have been going through changes. Some things have been taken, and details have been moved to places where they look like… well, that someone have wanted to take nice photo - no matter that it then looks just like it. And that ruins atmosphere very well.
And then I did get back to this amazing villa.
Yeah, I know it have been tourist thing for a while because some people have urgent need to get respect or what ever (that I don’t understand at all) by yelling locations as loud as possible. So this villa have already lost quite a lot of it’s charm.
And it were nothing.
Since my last visit just few months ago, someone have been there. I’m pretty sure someone who have been taken nice photos there with hundred candles. Yeah, there were maybe 50 candles on the mantelpiece. Other 50 as the circle on the floor. And few more on the table as shape of heart - with of course flowers taken from elsewhere to there. And like that wouldn’t be enough, there were few empty beer bottles and wine bottle and even glasses. And yes: someone have signed one wall, probably with wine or lipstick or whatever.
So someone did have enough stamina to take that all there, but not getting them away. And that lack of respect makes me really mad. Yeah, even I did think first that maybe someone have bought it and celebrate it there. But I don’t think so - I suppose that owner wouldn’t leave doors wide open, and everything did look so… you know, take some nice portraits or something like that. It need so little to ruin that mood… and especially with this place, because this place have so amazing history that begins at 1907 when pretty famous artist did build this at age of 25.
But still I did get few photos from there, even my mood were quite low. So here we go…
