Thanks very much, everyone! For some reason, although I always see a ton of churches posted around various exploring pages, it can be very difficult to pinpoint their locations. This is one of only a handful I've been tipped off to by others, and I'm really glad I fnially got to see it. It blows the small number of other churches I've visited out of the water completely.
Posted by EsseXploreR Fantastic set man! I helped bring in crates to package up the organ right after this beauty first closed. The guys doing the salvage work said we could hang around and take photos in exchange for helping.

What great timing, that must have been awesome. That probably makes you one of the few people to have seen the organ before it was completely disassembled.
Posted by Pear Only got into the basement when I visited and i must have spent 15 minutes looking for the stairwell up. If there was a staircase and my dumbass didn’t find it, i’ll be infinitely mad at myself. EDIT: still grateful to have seen that cemetery though, super cool.

I've been asked not to give away much info on this place, but rest assured I had the same issue with the basement before I approached it from another angle. Was the poor deceased cat down there when you visited?
Posted by DescentOnARope Awesome as always, a real beauty of a building. You think those crackers are still good?

Good question, I imagine communion wafers only barely count as food in the first place.
