This is a very seedy abandoned hotel that is like a time capsule from the 1980’s.

The shady hotel is in an equally shady part of the city, it dates back to the late 1800’s, however this building dates back to the early 1900’s and was likely closed around 20-25 years ago.

Inside there is quite a bit of evidence of drug use, including (what I took to be) blood stains on the carpets from injections gone wrong.

Some of the rooms seemed to have been lived in long term and have lots of things inside and there is also evidence of squatters living here.

This place has been on the local exploring scene for a very long time, however as access comes and goes it hasn’t been explored by a the masses.

Once you're done here, I have several 360 Degree pics on my website to give you a unique and different perspective

Wow, very much the time capsule indeed. I'm surprised by the lack of graffiti and apparent vandalism given how long it's been vacant and its post-closure residents. I would have expected it to be a wreck by now, but it looks great!

Great set, looks like a pretty cool explore.

My favs are the hotels from the 50's with that postcard Sunset Strip look.
An outside pool and large gaudy neon sign(s) are mandatory.
Few intact ones exist.

Love it, especially with so much untouched-by-vandalism decay.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

What a time capsule o.o
I'm pleasantly surprised at the lack of vandalism, considering how long it's been closed

I'd be curious to know the reason behind it's closure and that much furniture left behind!

Cool spot! Nice that there is so much furniture left behind. The top of the staircase shot is great!

I really like how brightly exposed these are.
When I ever get around to editing and posting my set, you'll see quite a difference. Mind you, I lost my good light, so I'm pulling curtains and trying for as much natural light as I can let in. You wisely went with some nice, bright sunshine coming in at some good angles.
