How to keep a thread semi private?

Hey all,

Was wondering if there is a way to make it so that a post can only be seen by people logged in (ie basic and full members only)? Found Ganesha's post on privacy (https://www.uer.ca...=1&threadid=119915), but it didn't really help.

I sort of figured. I guess it's probably best to stick to the adage of not posting stuff you don't want trashed by scrappers/vandals/etc.

Thanks for the reply anyways.

Full members can make a thread restricted to FMs only if it's in the regional subforums, and only FMs can access the Other subforum, but that's about it.

Basic members can make a public thread in the regional forums, and then a moderator can make it private, so that it is visible only to full members and the OP, and I believe other basic members who already replied in the thread.

You can also just make sure to exclude anything that would give the place away. I do most of my posting in the photography section, which has no way to make it private. If it's legally sensitive content then don't post it anywhere.
