This is one of the few spots that I've actually been to prior to it becoming inactive/abandoned. This was once a fishing place that closed down a few years ago and has been taken over by nature ever since. I never had any luck fishing here other than in the "sure-catch" pool which has turned into a prime spot for local taggers. There isn't too much to see here, but I hope you enjoy the photos regardless.
1. Didn't expect to see this here, but way back in the tick-infested weeds and tall grass I found this old row boat.
2. The sure-catch pool. I remember exactly where I was when I caught my very first fish ever here. Pretty sad to see it in its current state, but at least the tags aren't toys.
3. The old waterfall that helped circulate the water in the pool.
4.
5. Don't know exactly what these are, but I assume some sort of filtration system for the sure-catch pool.
6. Found a little empty hut hidden behind some brush. Not sure what it could've been used for.
7.
8. Lastly, the former fishing stock tube. This is where the trucks with live fish would come and drop off all the fish to stock the lake. They'd go through this tube which feeds directly into the take.
