Who saw this and immediately started planning the trip out?

I would be seriously interested if I had heard it was a solid block of metal. That would be interesting. If it's hollow cube, then it's pretty certain to be someone's "art" project. Nonetheless, it's cool.

Some of the people in my off-roading groups have already made the trek out. They said it was already packed with people taking instagram pictures. Supposedly you need a moderate offroad vehicle to get to it, but since its drawing so much attention, the gov't might remove it.

I'm leaning towards it being some kind of art project myself.

From what I can tell it’s definitely an art project. A buddy of mine from BLM said they might leave it as an attraction

Three sided riveted aluminum and somebody had the good sense to remove it already.

I was annoyed when Instagram did what it has done to urban exploration. I'm heartbroken watching it do the same to great pieces of wilderness.
