But how aren't you going to get roasted for the 0:36 paint mark, minimal though it is? Is that your way of indicating "Check! Done that" on your access point?

All the motel/resort-type places have a vibe that really screams "SW-styled crack den". I wouldn't have been surprised to see someone appear on frame, hanging out until the next ride out on the passing high way, but those derelict, very decrepit and graffiti'ed places have visual interest. Doesn't pretty much every unit/room look the same, with an overall ketchup-n-mustard spray-paint colour theme?

If I ever explore the 4 Corners area again, which I would really like, I'd have to read up on hantavirus and other viruses carried by rodents. In North America anyway, it's pretty much only a thing in that area of the SW US. Amazing area for UE: theoretically, industrial-type architecture there could stand forever because it'll barely rust at all. But I'm going off topic here...

Meh, I’m like a little kid , found a paint can , wondered if anything was in it @ 0:36. We don’t carry paint or anything else especially on tribal land like this. AZ DPS was very clear about how they couldn’t help us at all if we got in trouble on tribal grounds. No guns, paint, markers or anything except cameras and drones. Trespassing was already worrisome enough. Luckily we haven’t encountered anything except highway patrol on our travels.
