New UE/Preservation Documentary Coming Out

Hey All!

Long time no post. I haven't been as active here or in the exploring community for quite some time now due to growing my family, working various jobs, life, etc. Anyway, if anyone remembers me from back in the day I was collecting interviews and footage of exploring and preservation efforts mostly in the northeast. A lot has happened to many of these places since we began filming.

Filmmaking has always been my passion so this massive project has filled in my "free time" cracks over the years, whatever that was. Because I was working closely with a childhood friend of mine who also was growing his own family and focusing on his job it took us extra long to find the time for both of us to devote to this beast.

But here we are now. The movie is done. It is a feature length documentary and all buttoned up. Our entertainment lawyer gave us the green light to do with it whatever we want. At this time we are submitting it to a handful of film festivals to see if we can get any sort of traction. Many festivals are super strict about "owning" the premiere of films, so we haven't released the full video in any fashion yet except to a select few that helped along the way. Many of the explorers featured in the film haven't even seen it yet.

For those involved in our documentary, just know that your time, energy, and views still live on in this documentary. The places that have been demolished live on in this documentary and every picture every one of you take each time you go to an abandoned place lives on.

Attached you can view our teaser/trailer and visit our site at www.lifeindecay.com for updates.

As news hopefully rolls in with the doc my colleague and I will be doing our best to keep our website updated. Fingers crossed that we can get this released somehow to the masses, whatever that may look like.

Since we are in the marketing and distribution stage of this feature, if anyone here knows any sort of contacts or leads within the media/film world, or have been done this road before I am open for contact

Really cool that you're finally completing this!

Saw a little Richmond footage in the trailer. That was a fun day.
