Barber Paper Mill in Winter (Georgetown, ON) < on 3/15/2022 1:27 AM > | Reply with Quote
A little while back a friend of mine mentioned their town having an abandoned paper mill. Now, infiltration is much more my thing but I could not pass up the opportunity. The place is well fenced in but a bit of inconspicuous poking around yields what one seeks...
There's quite a bit of rubble and half destroyed building remnants surrounding the place which are worth checking out but nothing amazing. We ran into a couple other people checking the place out while there so it's not totally abandoned Looking at the walls you can see many a fantastic artist has been through over the years.
A flashlight is a must as most of the (worthwhile to explore) basement is pitch black even in broad daylight. Watch for holes in the floor, though.
There's also a somewhat destitute bus/truck/thing nearby.

Always a pleasure seeing new shots here, as the graffiti is written and rewritten over top of on an almost bimonthly basis. There's always something new to see, no matter how frequently new sets get posted. With that said, it's been a while since this made its way onto UER again, and not winter shots. Nice tour!

Shot Barber Mill for the first time back in November, cool spot for sure. That dog is one of my favorite tags across Canada, awesome memorial to somebody's best friend.

The guy signed it with his real name. He's atalented street artist from Toronto. The dog was another artist's who always was with him, Bacon & Tesla. It's shame someone wrote on it.

This was the first "real" urbex I had done in years and years. Went there last winter with a friend of mine. What a unicorn! The colors, the decay, it's bloody amazing!
