Went back to the prison this past weekend for Big House Produce's monthly photo access to the site. For $10/hr you get access to the whole upper prison minus 2 buildings and the upstairs of the chapel (due to unsafe floors that they're working to reinforce). Highly recommended everybody check this out at least once, there's a ton to see.

The first time I went I spent 2 hours in the new jail cells and then a decent amount of time in places like the basement basketball court so didn't spend much time in them this time and tried to focus on things I hadn't seen before. Also, brought my Mavic Mini and the wind/weather wasn't very cooperative, but did a couple decent photos (FYI - they got the prison/restricted airspace geolock removed so don't need any approval for DJI flights).

They do the photo tours at least once a month and then the do ghost investigations a lot more frequently.

Unfortunately it's looking like I'll probably have to go the 9th. There is a photographer running a workshop that day. It's more expensive but the place should have fewer people and it's on a weekend without conflict for me so I don't have to drive 6 hours home at night.

Oh man that place looks amazing! Too bad this is all the way on the other side of the state, I'm putting it on my bucket list!

Great shots. Been meaning to attend one of the days. I think I need to push it up on my priority list.
