Welcome to join me for my family holiday in Tallinn (I strongly dislike my family).

However the view from the hotel window was rather intriguing:



This massive set of stairs is the Linnahall, a concert hall and ice rink built for the Moscow Olympics in the 1980's.



It had stood abandoned for years and was in a very bad shape.



While it was clearly abandoned, access had been made extremely difficult.



But it truly was something only the Soviets could build.
