...called Old Car City.

At least, my version of heaven is.

I've been desperate to get back here ever since I first stepped foot on the hallowed ground in 2018, I had plans to go in 2020 but of course that all went to shit, and I ended up waiting another two whole years for the chance to see my favourite place in the entire world once more.

I could visit here a hundred times and still not get bored or come away with the same shots, I'd happily set up a camp inside the perimeter and live there for what it is to me.

For the uninformed, Old Car City is the largest car graveyard in the world, sprung from the historic general store/junkyard that's occupied the site for the best part of a century. It's now a glorified rusting museum, and for a small price you can spend as long as you want wandering around it. The near 4500 cars scattered around the 30+ acre property is an overwhelming sight to take in and I cannot get enough of it.

I think Sheavy and Pear, who had both never been before, felt the same by the end of the afternoon!

I took nearly 200 photos, so wittling it down into a sensible number for a post is very difficult.

Fantastic, it is beyond easy to fill a memory card in a place like this!

some of these can easily be restored by someone with deep pockets.even the one with a damn tree growing through it.

The amount of old cars here is astounding. Truly a place to get lost in and shoot away in.
