Saw this old bridge from the road with a few old rail cars on it. The cars were sealed up tight unfortunately (and visible from the road) so we just saw where the bridge would take us. We always find something.

The bridge led to an active railroad, we took what appeared to be a maintenance path. Came across an adult playground.

You would think that the dummies were used for target shooting but none of them had any bullet holes.
They may have had other holes for other purposes.

That was a train buff hotel where you could spend the night in a caboose.

The Conrail caboose originally belonged to the Reading RR and was one of the last cabooses bought new by the Reading RR before they went bankrupt.

Cool, so it was a hotel in it's current location?

Definitely not what I would expect to find in a filing cabinet. The conrail caboose is a beauty.

i noticed it lost its proper steps at one end, so looks like to be AAR legit they added stirrups
