I feel like the collective response here will be to ignore this guy or to send him to the dungeon with MaxPower.

However, while many members here are OG's and long-time lurkers, we rarely see newer generations of explores and enthusiasts joining this site.

Maybe we give these new members a chance and accept/embrace that this is the new nature of the hobby?

Or tell him to fuck off, I really don't care!!!

Okay, in the name of Freaktography's suggestion, I'll explain to OP why he's not getting much of a response, though I doubt he's actually watching this thread.

I think I see the disconnect here. You're looking for fans of urbex- people who consume urbex-related content but don't actually explore. That's not what this forum is for- everyone here actively goes out and explores.

Second, your word choice ("collab with") is a very common word choice with the clout-chasing "explorers" that are so common on Youtube and Instagram. This impression is doubled with the plug for your Instagram account. Again, that's not what this forum is about. This forum is a community dedicated to exploring, and we don't do it for clout. The fundamental difference is that we share information and stories among ourselves, but not with the wider world of non-exploring content consumers that Instagram/Youtube is aimed at.

Essentially, if you just want to gain clout and information handouts, this isn't the place for you. But if you want to join a community of like-minded explorers, welcome! The key to gaining trust in this community is to post pictures of your explorations on here, post frequently, read the FAQ threads, and generally be a trustworthy and friendly member of the community.

Welcome to UER Nomad!

Best of luck. I'm in WV and have no trips planned to NJ, sorry.

There's ZERO chance of going viral here.

Me, I'm not really in it for the art and photography stuff. I remember showing up to a UE party a very long time ago at some abandoned mental hospital and people were curious as to why I didn't bring a camera.

I don't think Gen Z gets that clout chasing was a thing here back in 2009. That's when Lord Rick was here, no?
