I decided to return to some old ruins that I'd previously explored in the big town of Jackson.

Here is a plating facility, built in the early 1970's

As you can see most of the smaller equipment had been liquidated when the company foreclosed

The place was filled with decayed silica wrap pipes, the place has been abandoned for about a decade

In one corner there was this diagram of one of the machines

This was once an HVAC company, but the business burnt down while trying to sell the property

It looks like there may have been a drop ceiling in these sheds once

This structure was peninsulated after the fire, and seems to be the only part with actual windows

The cinderblock building here used to be part of the former Goodyear Tire Plant, a sprawling facility that was several blocks in size. The buildings were built in the 1930s and 40s, this small structure was one of the only pieces left behind

I'm not sure what this warehouse was used for, it may have been a loading area

The building has a tunnel that leads to the foundation, this is because a railroad used to go over a loading zone parallel to the warehouse

There are few existing photos of the Goodyear plant, as it was torn down in 2000, if it was still around it would be one of the best urbex places
