New life in the south, new potential locations all around.
And so I found this old flour mill. Built in the early 20th century it was heavily expanded in the 1960's. After several ownership changes, it was abandoned after a bankrupcy in 1992. The newer annexes were demolished and this beauty was left to stand and finally protected.
Despite the listed status, the building was in a very bad condition.
Sun rays.
Despite the damage to the lower wing of the mill, the wooden floors in the tall part looked remarkably good.
There was also some pretty high quality graffiti in the mill. I believe that figure from Donald Duck is called Idget the Midget in the English version. In Finnish he's called something like Cigar-Zachary, which explains the joke here.
The machinery was still pretty much there.
Stairs and colorful metal containers.
There was also a lot of grain left.
And neat holes on the floor ready to be stepped in.
