So I checked back in this forum to see if anyone else had posted about this so I think it might be a new one. I guess it was a private park exclusive to the employees of National Semiconductor in Santa Clara. It is just a park, though it has a neat amphitheater and a pool area I had to flee before getting to; a more talented person than myself could probably take some pretty spooky pictures at night.
So, first post and all, and I guess Flickr embeds don't work? I have a small gallery of my trip there earlier today at

Additionally, Hello! I've been exploring for years but only moved to the Bay area about a year ago. So far in California I've only found this place, a few drains awaiting drier weather, a few coastal defense sites I am sure everyone already knows about, and a secretive test site for electronic aircraft engines (that is also not as cool as it sounds.) I do have a Google Earth map full of clues/leads though and I'm eager to explore more of it.
It's nice to live in an area where there are other weirdos out there doing this kind of thing now. Hopefully I have more stuff to show soon.
