I have been to an annual airshow in Rhineback(sp?), N.Y. that has alot of WWII and WWI airplanes and they still fly them...they also have some pretty funny skits as well. I suggest you check it out if you can!

there was also an airshow at Jeffco Airport here in Colorado which never came back around because a guy died in a stunt...

I've got 160 pictures of the Trenton, ON airshow. Perhaps I'll load some pictures on here... Good show, but the bastard American flying the F-16 was just about pushing the sound barrier it was loud but amazing. The Canadian in the CF-18 wussed out and just flew in a pattern. Still the CF-18 is a nicer plane

Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It's HUGE. I was flown via private jet down to Carthage, Missouri last summer by the owner of Williams Lighting for a VIP weekend at the Joplin airshow... wasn't the best but hey, VIP's get tented seating right next to the runway, free beer, and get carted around by golf cart instead of having to walk. While I was there I visited an underground factory in an old mine outside of Carthage...

I've been to small shows at reliever / local airports in Eden Prairie MN, Siren WI, Duluth MN, Eau Claire WI, and Red Wing MN; and each has its own unique style. I saw the nicest restored post-D P-51 I've ever seen in my life in Red Wing...

The Sun 'n' Fun Fly In is the second largest air show. It's held in Florida. I go every time!

Sometimes, you need to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who it is you're talking to. Then, on your way out, slam the door.

too bad, for us here in the dallas area. with all the destrucion after katrina, everyone started freaking out over rita, so they canceled the annual airshow here for the first time ever, and it never even rained or got so windy it was unsafe! last year they had a mig-17 flying, along w/ a p-38, a p-51 and a f-15 flying in formation, and a C-41 too!
