Some new shit and some old shit

1 & 2 are recent self-portraits from this year at a TB hospital.

3 - 15 are in chronological order from 2010 (3 - 6), 2011 (7 - 14), and 2012 (15). All from Belchertown State School.

16 is a self-portrait of a lil me back in 2012 at Essex County Hospital.

17 was taken at 03:40 AM with an old Sony P200, flash and all, when I was a security guard at this State Hospital, summer 2013.

18 is just a bonus shot. I am getting back into infrared and shooting with older digital cameras so this was taken on my "new" Sony F828. I have the F717 kicking around as well which was my first IR-capable camera that I picked up in 2007.

PS - For the "A Film by Jeromie Whalen" photo, that refers to the documetary "Purgatory: An Historical Analysis of the Belchertown State School" that he made. That can be viewed here - https://www.youtub...nnel=JeromieWhalen

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

I found the RAW file for the corrugation shot when I was editing for this set and I hadn't opened it in YEARS - amazing what a little tweak of white balance and tint will do to correct.... The entire image was a green cast basically lol

I have another one somewhere that I took of myself (as opposed to #6 which is my friend) - I will try and find it for the next throwback set I post

This was one of the few times back then I shot raw, thankfully I made the "mistake" that day! when I actually understood how to shoot and develop in RAW wow it changed everything! wish I had a time machine though! ugh I miss the belch!!!!
