So this happened a couple weeks ago.

A couple friends involved with an Irish bar in the city contacted me saying this guy has been frequenting their establishment the last couple weeks.

I'm planning to try making contact, and probably end up writing a news article about it. Thought I'd see what people here think of this whole thing first.

I don't see anythng special about it or him.

Alain Robert the french guy dit it before and climbed almost every possible skyscraper in the world in his life, and he still is.

If you gotta write something write about Alain!

A big part of his free solo climbing life in the late 70's and 80's is under documented but he did great exploits.

He's special because he was caught here, and I have a chance to bump into him. Not really much else.

Yeah, I've been salivating over that for the last week. One of my reporters also went on the tour, but it was very hard to sign up, as reservations all disappeared within minutes of opening. That Guardian article mentions one of the entrances, so I'm going to see if they leave it unlocked, or try tailgating one of the tours.
